SlimeeDiceStop degrading yourself by stickin Take Care in this convo plz
I’m not even a drake fan. But that album went over 5x plat and had hits on top of hits and changed the sound of rap. All these wanna be singer rappers who can’t hold a tune or spit exist because of that album.

Yeah that’s what I’m saying, what criteria are we basing Thriller on? If it’s hits and commercial dominance, then yes Grad is the correct answer. But if we’re talking in terms of magnum opus & sheer production/lyrical content, then it’s MBDTF.

- damn near every song is a classic hit, emphasis on classic
- the entire era broke barriers in music and pop culture
- Michael's starpower and icon status was cemented
- brought together every person of every age and every race
- crazy acclaim and chart dominance
...then ask yourself if any hip-hop album does all of this (or any album in general)
