I’ve noticed DARK dark people have some of the best skin. Brodie came in my store the other day looking like god just washed his face. Not a single imperfection. I had to ask him what he does and he just said I drink 2 GALLONS of water a day. At that point I believe it.
Facts, you can have the most elaborate skin care routine but if you're not drinking water and hydrating yourself as well, you won't reach your maximum potential
lots of people don't even need crazy skin care routines, just need to up their water intake. This year I stopped using most of my products aside from toner, moisturizer and cleanser, but upped my water intake and my skin is doing better than when I was using serums and whatnot. Haven't had a breakout in months
My "skincare routine" is literally just aloe vera gel and rosehip oil after a shower. Happily cuffed. Some niggas just got it like that, regardless of a real skincare routine
foam cleanser + toner + SPF moisturizer combo unmatched
was still getting it before i had a routine though lol
I just drink hella water and my skin pretty smooth. i never break out much, i get a few pimples here and there tho

I think it’s also genetics
I’ve seen on Reddit subreddit about skincare some people drink plenty of water but still have acne and stuff.

I'm the same mostly. If I get a pimple pop up it's rare and it'll be gone in a day or two. If anything I just need something to take care of a few dark spots. But even then that gets handled whenever I'm out in the sun

This is also facts. There's no one true skincare routine for everybody. People's skin are different no matter what amount of oils, toners, soaps they use or how clean their diet is.
I wake up with my skin glowin and all I do is drink water, wash my face everyday and occasionally use witch hazel at night what can I say, havin hella melanin has its perks
When you got nice skin without all of that just wash ya face good and drink water, change your sheets/pillow cases, don’t touch your face with your nasty hands and eat well and make sure you get decent sleep.
Got dermatitis that needed steroid cream to get under control. My skin is gonna fall off a cliff when I'm older so I don't even bother

this may work good for black folks but for the rest of y’all…

also true, some people are blessed with good skin
this may work good for black folks but for the rest of y’all…
Oh yeah I fasho feel bad for everyone else
I dont think you should do skin care for picking up girls but just do it for yourself. You´ll age better and feel better and you dont need much to achieve a good amount. Cleanser + moisturizer already does wonders
bumping this thread cause i just got into a skincare routine after my girl was telling me you should as you age.
researched like 4 hours of youtube videos and consulted with her, got these:
