How’s that third party working out for you?
On a different note this is an issue third parties need to be tirelessly taking advantage of to build their bases up imo
The more people extremely dissatisfied with the main 'two' parties the better.
Too long people have been served up bullshit
I think ive posted this before but this is an article on the 1990 iraqi hostage crisis and the US counterinsurgency tactics that were employed to eventually invade the country (Brian Becker was actually one of the main lynchpin figures in getting Saddam to release the hostages and set the stage for Desert Storm, a damning indictment of his supposed "anti-imperialism").
the lesson here is if you have hostages just keep those s***s forever, it will never shake out positively for you to give them back.

You’re sounding too sensible for these wannabe conservatives
More like you’re avoiding answers
you can't free my country by electing the person destroying it, you can't free women by electing the person oppressing them.
hope this helps.

Best time to join a third party was 70 years ago...
the Second best time is now
you can't free my country by electing the person destroying it, you can't free women by electing the person oppressing them.

Like I said, you’re avoiding answers with these DeRay McKesson quotables.
Very funny how you libs act so concerned about women’s and Arab rights until an Arab woman says something that breaks with your worldview and then you move on to making fun of said Arab woman for having their rights assaulted
Yall disgust me. Just the most smug, two faced motherfuckers on the planet
I see you refused to answer my simple question as well, troll

I dont care. youre not going to change your mind and I have better things to do than argue with some social-fascist nerd.
The US doesn’t give a damn about razing Gaza, they want to keep Israel friendly enough to keep using them as an FOB in the region. When Israel goes too far, the US, or at least the Democrats, reign them in. That’s where these ceasefire talks stem from. The US is actively against the settlements, not blindly pro-Israel, but also isn’t going to just turn it’s back on an ally because lefty protestors want them to.
This made me laugh fr.

So, your answer to the very simple question “are you conservative or third-party” is just deflection. Got it. Say whatever you want. The truth always comes out.

Knew this was coming
Multiple countries have rejected this sham of a resolution
Also you never addressed the issue regarding why the US and israel vetoed multiple resolutions for a ceasefire that had support from the vast majority of the UN

because their position wasn't in favor of a ceasefire at that point in time, now it is. Why have Russia and China switched their positions now that the US is in favor?

Someone explained to you in another thread. This resolution wouldn’t have immediately enforced a permanent ceasefire. It was a let’s return the hostages and then maybe think about putting in a temporary ceasefire to get aid in, meaning Israel can go back to business as usual when that’s done (or probably not before it’s done). You can think what you want of whether China or Russia were truly righteous and morally infallible in voting against it, but that doesn’t change the substance/content - or lack thereof - of the proposal.
A watered down playing with words version of a ceasefire offered by the US so that they appear to have offered the type of ceasefire that would actually stop the bloodshed. They’d veto an actual ceasefire again next week if one was proposed.

how is a temporary ceasefire with hostage release not beneficial to everyone?
how is a temporary ceasefire with hostage release not beneficial to everyone?
Because what happens once the temporary part of the temporary ceasefire is over?
it would give israel a huge green light to do whatever they want once the ‘humanitarian pause ceasefire’ is over. They can not be given an inch. The last 5 months is what Israel does with an inch. A permanent ceasefire (which involves the release of all hostages on both sides) is what is needed
