the essential component for comparing this conflict to the Holocaust for you is whether or not there are concentration camps is hilarious

where do y’all get off w this s***

Also they literally have concentration camps

Israel has a process of “administrative detention” where they can hold Palestinians in a camp for 6 months with no charges. At the end of the 6 months they can renew it for another 6 months no questions asked. Out of those camps we see deliberate displays of torture, rape, and extrajudicial killing.

    Those are concentration camps

it doesn't matter. both candidates will try to destroy palestine and most Americans already dont vote.

every little win against fascism makes a difference for the atm very uncertain world peace.

subscribing to nihilism rn as an anti-fascist just makes it an easy win for them. yes there's a lot of work still undone but especially these little symbolic wins are important rn.

yes even the dems are a bit but it's just on a completely uncomparable level with republican campaign goals

    okay i guess

Get organized. Does your city have a tenants union or an anti imperialist coalition? Are you working to build independent organs of working class political power? Are people participating in civil disobedience or other forms of disruption? If not, talk to your neighbors and get something started. Politics are bigger than voting once every four years

an ongoing palestinian genocide is not a "win against fascism". sorry but youre just yapping, the democratic party supports fascism. it is a social-fascist organization. it does not dismantle white supremacy at home and in fact actively encourages it (see: the border crisis, racist cop killings in DNC controlled cities, dogwhistles against migrants, etc.) it sends weapons and money to fascists abroad -- whether its israel, ukraine, saudi arabia, or the various islamofascist paramilitary groups across the middle east and central asia. what do you call that?

the only "nihilist" here is you, since you've reduced yourself to "symbolic" "wins" and have completely shut out any possibility of real revolutionary change.

I never really understand why this distinction matters. It doesn’t matter what state you’re in, an election won’t be decided by one vote.

I’m not too sure, my knowledge in politics is terrible tbh. I hear people say a vote in a swing state is worth more than a vote in a red/blue state but aren’t most of those big states worth more percentage wise in the polls? It feels like it all balances but I could be wrong

    Is Trump pro-Palestine?
Edit: "If we don't win this election. Israel, in a period of two to three years, will cease to exist. It will be wiped out," Trump declared on Thursday night.
    I guess not.

I’m from Illinois bro there’s only one outcome it’ll be here. Also I don’t keep up with politics like maybe I should.

I’ve never voted, which I know is kinda privileged and ignorant but if I’m not knowledgeable about the candidates stances it might be best I don’t vote

I dont support either but your “better for world peace” justification is funny bc Trump is anti-war and is so confident about ending the Ukraine war that he promised to do it as the elect, nor do you know how he’d approach Israel differently meanwhile you’re currently seeing the playbook of the side you like and getting a ceasefire now would actually help her campaign if she wanted to

And according to Tulsi Gabbard a (former) Democrat not me, Kamala is the type of person who would do something rash just to show her assertiveness with other countries doubting it as opposed to Trump who they already fear and is less controlled in his willingness challenge old deals/alliances to negotiate his way, kinda like the one we have with Israel

Even if Trump came out and said he’s pro Palestine and pro-choice and had a great economic plan I believe people would still rationalize their vote for Kamala

Trump being anti-war is just a bit for magacoms to run with you’re not actually supposed to buy into it

Pretty delusional hyperbole but again people say anything to rationalize voting for the current supplier of weapons to the current ongoing genocide. Tariffs or sanctions do not equal physical war
