Pretty delusional hyperbole but again people say anything to rationalize voting for the current supplier of weapons to the current ongoing genocide. Tariffs or sanctions do not equal physical war

1st of yall yes they can be. 2nd of yall you are delusional if you think trump is anti war. Sorry its just not true. He is a liar

Why 8 years later are you believing what trump says

I’d trust someone who has no reason to say “before I even get in office” implying he knows what he’ll leverage from haven negotiated with said leader before, over someone who’s currently letting it happen with no plan.
Why do you trust someone who blatantly panders to anti-Israeli war voters with ambiguous language to make it seem like she’s on their side while currently supplying it?

Because you’re definitely voting for her stop trying to seem ambiguous lol I said “I dont support either”and 3 of you answered as if you can predict the failure of Trump’s future peace deals as if him risking his reputation to promise he’ll do it even before inauguration is a worse alternative to Kamala’s current death deal and no promise about Ukraine

theyre both bad for this but if that makes sense I dont believe its inherently in trumps interest to maintain multiple wars. kamala is a DNC operative through and through so she will for sure keep it going, meanwhile it seems like GOP is much more dependent on trump than the other way around, they really dont have any other person to unite behind. my knowledge of this is very limited so ill hear you on any thoughts contrary to mine

Showing that the American people do not support genocide and that we’re tired of having the same bullshit “choices” every four years?

i never really understood the logic behind this.

Voter turnout is worse pretty much every election.

I feel like statements like this supposes that the mechanics of government will stop functioning and they wont? They just make you miss out on issues at the local gov/municipalities level that actually make a difference in the life around you.

You can just skip the presidential field

both presidents are essentially the same for anyone living in the global south and especially under siege by a US funded occupier so there is no “less damage” that’s a boogeyman Democrats use to scare liberals into voting for them

my greater issue with statements like that, is that not voting for the president usually translates into not voting in general which is a great way to f*** up your everyday life.

They're are local issues that actually require attention and need a vote.

people not participating in America's phony pseudo-democracy for the wealthy is a political statement. its not laziness or apathy, its a wake up call to begin abandoning it for a better system of popular democracy. this can only be accomplished through political revolution.

    well yeah duh,

but it's a statement that isnt materializing for a number of reasons, so i have to wonder is that statement working. Should we try something else?
