its really not that hard or mystified/obscured to understand why people still support trump. and i dont mean weird internet stuff or trolls. i mean people in small towns in middle america. if you understand why rhetoric from people like Tucker Carlson appeals to people than you can understand why Trump is appealing. people deflect it to being about racism or something but it really has nothing to do with that

    They can relate to him

I guess I would rather vote for Trump than Biden. My main reason for Trump over Biden would be that Biden had in some context my family’s blood in his hands, and I could never vote for a member of the Obama administration that killed and made my family homeless. The great economy before Covid was truly an achievement for Americans. Would also rather vote for the guy who done more for black Americans with jobs and household than the one who had the chance to help but instead threw more in jail and called them poor, colorless and roaches. Also Biden supports Planned Parenthood, and f*** that Nazi concentration camp + support towards China, who also have Nazi concentration camps. Biden just have more support to things that I don’t support. Trump do too but it’s significantly less. Mostly war stuff.

But in reality, not voting for either Trump or Biden when Kanye is running

  • Aug 12, 2020

im not voting since my state is going Democrat no matter what, but Trump's tax policies benefit me more so he would be a better candidate in that regard. Otherwise, I really just see Biden as the same exact person. Only difference is that he will nominate a Democrat judge, which is easily the most important reason why Biden needs to unfortunately win (otherwise, the Supreme Court will be far too conservative for the next 20-30 years)

I don't think they can necessarily relate to a billionaire, rather he offers them something abstract, in the same way Brexit appealed to a certain section of the British public. To a lot of people he represents a future in a world that's gone stale, he represents hope, an escape from contemporary neoliberal capitalism.

Genuine question, how in the world did Trump achieve a great economy & what has he done that's directly helped African Americans?

Also, how are you connected PP & Nazi concentration camps?

If forced to choose between blue neo-liberals that want to disarm the populace, or red neo-liberals that don't want to disarm the populace, I will take the red ones every time.

If Democrats truly want to serve the interests of the working class, reduce the leverage of police, and ensure that the billionaire class is held directly accountable to their employees, then they must abandon their anti-gun positions. Until then, it's a Republican vote regardless of who the nominee is.

It has everything to do with it. The billionaire class only exist because the state protects them with guns. Disarming the common man only guarantees that their leverage exists uninfringed.

You're never going to expel billionaires from politics and stop their exploitation through legislation and voting for rich Democrats. You won't do it with Republicans either, but at least they aren't trying to feverishly remove your ability for armed campaign.

    Armed campaign

Gun owners aren't doing s***. As we saw during the BLM protests, they would much rather defend the state. The biggest nationwide revolt in many years against a murderous, overreaching authority, and that's the side they chose. Shut up

All of those armed Black Panther marches where they essentially kicked cops out of their neighborhoods 'weren't doing s***'? The Seattle autonomous zone where they effectively resisted the feds was just gun owners 'siding with the state'?

If you think the only gun owners are rightists that suck the d*** of the state, then I don't know what to tell you. Every single successful black liberation and civil rights movement in this country was the result of armed harassment against politicians that put the rightful freedom of minorities on the table of white democracy.

If you want the government -- the same government that routinely s***s all over the rights of people, especially unpopular minority groups -- to criminalize your ability to possess symmetrical force again them, by all means, Ride With Biden and vote your rights away. When the pendulum inevitably swings the other way and the next right-wing tyrant is elected, you can fondle your limp d*** instead of fighting back. Couldn't be me though

    40 got me funky

I would vote for trump this election if he earned it, he has to do some crazy ass move that makes him look good like legalize marijuana state wide and expunge criminal records from marijuana, he most likely won’t but he needs to make a chess like move, until then my vote is going to Kanye because I know Trump will win without my vote, and if Biden wins I won’t care at all because he’s honestly just a democratic Trump who differs in some categories but will act like Trump when he’s finally in office, he won’t do s*** just like his buddy Obama

Wait so Biden will act like trump while not doing s*** like Obama. So ur saying dtrump = joe = obama???

This is a fake concern cooked up by right wing pundits to stir up their base. No administration the United States could elect in our lifetime would have the power and support to disarm the populace. We can't even enforce mask use, let alone erase the 2nd amendment and disarm the nation. We are generations separated from such sweeping changes.

Lest we forget, this a country where someone can murder 26 people at an elementary school and half the population writes it off as a necessary price for freedom while clinging more tightly to their guns. We have a long, long way to go.

"I’ve got black accountants at Trump Castle and at Trump Plaza. Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys wearing yarmulkes…. Those are the only kind of people I want counting my money. Nobody else… Besides that, I tell you something else. I think that guy’s lazy. And it’s probably not his fault because laziness is a trait in blacks."

The Republicans, with a beloved future president of theirs in California, are the party who literally introduced gun control in the face of Black Panther armed resistance. And they would happily do the same to quell any resistance if it was ever an actual threat. If you think the answer is to support that party, you're a f***ing idiot. It's really that simple. Unless you can give me an example of the Dems doing the thing you're saying you wouldn't literally vote them for like I have there, it's just nonsense.
