Chum has 80 million streams on spotify bro, and IDLS has some of the best rapping of the decade. If he kept in that lane he could still be a big lyrical rapper. Production on IDLS was amazing.
It feels like you’re living in a different world lol. The song wasn’t a huge hit when it dropped, Earl has fans and they stream his singles, that doesn’t mean it was very accessible or is even much different from the lane he’s in now. SRS also has tons of streams and recognition and I would predict will have more streams than Chum with some tracks eventually, it arguably got him a whole new wave of popularity. So idk what you’re on about with that point, saying Chum has streams so it can’t be weird. Earl is successful in his niche lane making lowkey rap songs. The original post was saying that he’s sitting on a bunch of stuff that would propel him beyond his currently already successful status and that’s what i just don’t believe. Chum was sleepy as s*** and when it came out, while I and other big fans liked it, there was still a feeling of, like where did his energy go? A lot of people were complaining about his voice and monotone doom raps at that point. No matter how many Chum type songs in the vault he has they wouldn’t be some kind of game changer if he dropped them, he would remain where he’s at. Which is an amazing position

Prince would be my answer but somewhere on my list would be chance the rapper. He was on a creative hot streak around 2013 and he shelved it all to go gospel so I’d be very curious to hear what never saw the light of day
T.I. duh lol jk
In all seriousness, Prince.
Enjoy T.I's music but imo he ain't interesting enough for me to see what's in the vault

Kanye. Think about the s*** that's been leaked over the years. Unreleased s***. Kendrick on All Day/Father Stretch My Hands comes to mind. Knowing how much s*** Ye cuts off of projects I have to wonder about the sort of gold mine that was left on the cutting room floor.
