Copenhagen.
After watching the movie Another Round ft Mads Mikkelson, Denmark definitely looks like a vibe
Berlin if we're going off wives
dam that's my wife's second pick lmaooo
Visited NY for the first time the other month and was in Manhattan and Brooklyn. While that energy was dope, ever experienced anything like it…it soon felt pretty overwhelming. Then again I’m used to living in boring ass places most my life so having something constantly available to do sounds great.
where’s some places you’ve been? Favorites? Looking to step up travel this year, got Japan, Italy, Hawaii in mind so far.
I’m from Brooklyn, grew up there in the 90s (in my late 20s now for reference, so I apologize if I sound like a boomer for my next statement) pre gentrification it was still hectic but a bit different.
The NY you’re experiencing while still great and still eventful as ever has been pretty damn commercialized and that might have contributed to that overwhelming feeling.
It was overwhelming back then too for sure but it’s a different ball game now.
And I’ve traveled to Jamaica, Canada, Japan, Germany with Amsterdam next on the list.
If you liked NYC you’ll love Tokyo
Cali is homeee. As much s*** as it gets, you really don’t see almost perfect weather, scenery, nature all in one many other states…
I be having to stop myself from moving back lol. It’s just so expensive…
Cali looks so fire idc what people say lmao I want to visit one of them surf heavy towns

Going to Japan for the first time next week for 2 weeks lol
Any insight / tips? Going from Tokyo, to Osaka then Kyoto. Trying a hostel for the first time too to meet people & hopefully get a good feel for the vibe out there, sounds crazy but even considering Japan as a place to move

Is your wife not french then? I chose Berlin cause my partner (born in Canada) still has family out there and German citizenship through her mom

I was in Munich years ago and everyone was like "why are you here and not in Berlin"
so I had to check it out a few years later and

Bro I been there multiple times.
Are you black? I’m black and I have two strand twists that look like dreads and the locals couldn’t stop telling me how cool my hair was lol
In my experience the locals who are younger like 20s and such be so cool with us cuz they love rap.
They were asking me about Kendrick Lamar and Future
I even had people rapping 2pac lyrics to me in the club.
I haven’t been to Osaka or Kyoto but I know people that have.
Kyoto is more traditional with shrines and temples and stuff Tokyo and Osaka are more modern.
I could recommend restaurants and clubs in Tokyo if you want

Lmao yeah I’m black, had locs for a few years but just cut em. Everyone says I look like Pac now deadass
But heard you get treated like a celebrity out there fsho. I got a bunch of tatts so was worried, but heard it shouldn’t be a big deal either.
Yeah bro recommend me food spots, trying to save for the most part so I’ll be hittin family marts and 7/11s a lot but also don’t mind occasionally eating out somewhere else
I also really wanna have some fun ass nightlife experiences, any recs on getting integrated with that / general vibes with others out there?

I went in October but I don’t drink lmaooo I still should’ve hit up one of them spots just to watch.
I can’t lie there’s something about Europes vibe that I dig
As someone that’s been to Europe I gotta admit they mastered the art of the walkable city man
They really perfected it in every way possible. It's a shame that the USA wasn't built like these places.

s*** is CRAZY when you go back to America cuz the layouts look dumb as hell by comparison
I keep bringing this up in threads but I really miss Cairo Egypt. Stayed there for the first three months of the year.
There were a lot of things I could complain about. But there was something special about the places and people I met while there.
I’m considering going back this fall and staying for a year. Especially since my father lives there who I’m not too close to but grew to learn and love.
Poorest place on earth with barely a penny to my name. I’d use it as motivation to grind even harder. Lots of unique networking opportunities that no one else would have access to too so I’d be up and stuck in no time.
