A side hustle is something that makes you money in tandem with your regular job. It’s not necessarily something that makes you happy or improves your life it simply gets you more money.
A hobby can be anything but it SHOULD both make you happy and improve your life.

OnyxShine9Also, making money in and of itself should not be a hobby, but the monetizing of your hobby should be the ultimate objective of it. Making money on its own as a pleasantry will drive a person to do questionable things.

No video games don’t count. That’s not social and it’s not productive at all. By definition it is technically a hobby but it’s not a good hobby that will improve your life unless you do it professionally.

I play video games but even I will acknowledge that it’s a waste of time unless you’re a professional gamer.
Something like playing football or even playing pool or some s*** is a productive hobby. Building legos or playing video games is a solitary activity that involves a whole lot of sitting around in your house. It’s about as productive as beating your d***. It’s a bad hobby.
