    I hate this mentality. Tip if you can but you shouldn’t be shamed for wanting to have a nice dinner and not wanting to throw down 5 extra dollars.

    there's really no point in giving a tip if you're just paying at the register and picking up your own food lol. that's just sheep behaviour and you're subsidizing s***-tier wages

    It depends. During Covid, I like to support local restaurants. I ain’t tipping picking up food from a chain like Applebee’s or some s*** but I’ll throw a couple bucks in the tip jar if I’m picking up from a local family owned shop
