But some dudes be weird about their girl and make it awkward for friends to acknowledge her.

But some dudes want their girl to be apart of their life community, and not separate.

For me I want my friends and family to treat my s/o as if she's an extension of me.

I also think it's about mixing your friends with SO too early in the relationship. One to two years I can see male friends just keeping it simple and surface level since you don't know if it's a serious relationship. Anything past 3 years you should get to know the SO more.

From my experience, living in Atlanta, niggas here be weird about their girl. They don't want you talking to them. Or they'll have an energy about it that's very uninviting. Or s***, the girl might have an uninviting energy.

But then the dude might express disappointment that his friends don't engage with her much, but I'm like dude, you (and your girl) make it to where niggas don't feel comfortable around yall. So now I don't really f*** wit her that much after enough time. And I ain't gonna be sad about it when she's gone.

Love is about openness and vulnerability. If a dude (not saying you specifically) wants to hide his girl... niggas not gonna respond well to that.

And I know myself cus when I got my girl around these same friends, I didn't really feel comfortable integrating her with them that much cus of how they act with their girls around me. But of course, the same result: they be hating on the relationship and have a distaste about the girl, and the girl isn't always comfortable with the guys either cus she thinks they don't like her, and she probably assumes it's because of how I represent her when I'm not around

Letting that s*** compact sucks, cus it's not easily correctable. It's important to start how you want to finish in all things.

But one thing is for sure, how your friends engage with your girl is 100% based on how you represent her and your relationship to them. There's no other basis to go off of besides that.

Personally I don’t want my girl in my niggas face if they not with they girl/or didn’t bring another female. it’s actually disrespectful she wants other niggas attention while being the only female at the function, definitely attention seeking behavior.
