Lol trying to get some opinion. I feel like me personally I may engage my friends gf in convo just to be polite and I would include him( the friend) in it as well really more like talking to them both. I probably wouldn’t have convos with them at length regardless of whether or not they’re a cool person just out of respect for my friend and their relationship, I feel that that is strange. Like that’s an unsaid boundary you kind of anticipate and avoid out of respect.

My buddies tend to not be too talkative to my girl if they see her besides saying hi or having small exchanges here and there. My friends have had convos at length with my girl in the past but tend to avoid it. I feel like it’s a communication difference like when my male friends interact with me or each other there is like no pressure or obligation to talk if you don’t want to, we’re usually smoking. Sometimes mf don’t even acknowledge each other and everybody just doing their own thing.

My girl thinks it’s weird because she says up north (I’m from the south), mixed gender groups like mingle and have convos even if its their friends girl? That just sounds strange asf to me. Like obviously everybody can chill in a group and do something but why would someone talk to their friends partner at length?
