    i wish it was this easy but ur setting ppl up for failure if u frame it this way

    if you’re unhappy (or very happy!) you should exercise to the best of your body’s abilities

    but it’s not the end all be all for happiness.

    you will be disappointed in both the short term and long term if you go into it thinking it is

    You need to exercise your mind, body and spirit. Balance the three of them and you'll find your peace

    Try meditation for the mind.

    The spirit will eventually fall into place if you got two of them sorted

    This happened to me too, I think people painting any one thing as the "one true solution" to feeling good are being a little naive about just how different each person is.

    For some folk, it takes a lot. Like I try to do yoga + meditate and practice a lot of self care to go along with the exercise. I know people who don't even exercise and they're okay. I know some who just meditate and are okay. But for me I need everything.

    Yeah that’s very true, everyone is different

    Working out definitely helps me but it’s not a cure

    If I don’t workout for more than 3 days, I feel completely out of it and need my dose of gym to feel ok again

    But when life gets in a way, it can be difficult to hit gym consistently

    I still hit at least 3 days a week but would like 4 but that doesn’t happen sometimes when I’m busy
