dont go to the cops they wont help you, they will show up when its too late. Safe all the evidence, take notes etc. and then file a restraining order or some s*** idk. But tbh he really needs to get beat up

And if so what made him all of a sudden reach out to you out of the blue and decide to start stalking you after two years have already gone by?
Or Did you not notice this man following you around for the past two years and only just now realized it?

Therapy needs to be free or extremely affordable. There is a mental health crisis for men that isn't talked about, because they've largely been told to "tough it out" their entire lives. Not on any of this weird social paradox of "male vs. female" stuff, but it really is a rough time for most men 18- 24 now.
Therapy is a grift unless you have an actual DSM 5 diagnosed mental illness.
Most of these young men need to stop eating fast food, watching p***, and get their ass in the gym and get some discipline. Also get off the message boards and forums
