This is insane behavior and you have every right to be concerned for your safety. I wouldn’t reach out to him. If you know where he currently resides then report him to the police and see if they can pay him a visit and tell him to stop contacting or stalking you or else you’ll file a restraining order, one last final warning type thing. Probably a good idea to file a restraining order anyway. Don’t go anywhere alone for the next few weeks.
