Thank you! I’m from NY so I’m tryna stick around here. Will probably go for Cardozo or Brooklyn Law and see how much money they give me. Might check out some schools that are notorious for giving full rides like GW but right now I’m just focused on staying in NY to have a leg up with alumni in big law

That's the best way to approach it. At times it will get difficult but most law students feel the same at some point. When I started my law degree I lacked direction which crippled my motivation to study. Targeting big law gives you something to work towards and maintain focus.

Update: OP is officially going to law school on scholarship. Not gonna say where so as not to dox myself, but it was my top choice. I’m not not crying right now. Feels weird putting this out there to strangers online right now but damn I’ve been thru a lot this year and coming back to ktt has really helped me take my mind off a lot of bullshit especially throughout this entire application process.

I gotta thank you guys for being some funny, friendly people. Y’all really did help me get here in a weird way.
