It was ok I didn't get what makes it AOTY exactly

I do agree that it isnt kanyes best but it is in my top 20 rap but not top 10 rap

My point was that I loved this album and now Kanye broke my heart and idk how to feel

AF one of them bands that's kinda hard to get cause they influenced so many that woulda end up doing that sound in a less interesting way

but s*** like the title track and others in undeniable

and them winning the grammys that year was kinda just like a peak moment for indie rock as a genre and allowed that door to open in the mainstream for that moment in time

I think I might just prefer modern indie over this sound

IMO the culture of it overrides the actual music. People look back on that era and how ye was moving as the second coming of christ and although I did enjoy the theatrics of its release I feel like it is overrated by many

Kanye already broke my heart before all this by a drop in album quality sometime after TLOP
