Everyone thinks their problems are bigger than they actually are and nobody is teaching people how to cope and control their emotions at an early age.

It should be common sense. I learned all that without having to be taught but common sense has never been the western worlds strong point. We def need instruction on this stuff in early education and high school.

It is overused but it is unfortunately because people been going through a whole lotta s*** for a long f***in time. People really gotta take time to reflect on s***, realize some things, take care of themselves and actually tackle issues from their past that they repress.

There's better ways than touching surface levels on issues, and decoding verses like they're the Da Vinci Code

I guess being apart of the 70 is cool though

Edit: just now realizing y'all really be like 20 on here, proceed with Sir Israelite Duckworth and his teachings

People are reaching out about their mental anguish like you're reaching out about your mild annoyance over having to hear about it

i understand what you going for, but it's more so the lack of action these words are usually met with. claiming trauma totally fine, but if you just going to continually say it without actively looking for ways to lessen/escape it, then yea bleh.

    A Mad Ass Nigga

People over use the term “trauma”. But complaining about it is just as corny.

  • I mean it should be expected in a world of a million similar experiences. We are all gonna report on what we’ve been thru at different times, you just seeing that more because the language is becoming more accepted

Mental health issues is just more accepted and people now have more confidence to speak on that given how folks were looked down on in the past for feeling a way. The stigma around mental health even as little as 10 years ago was still mad toxic. To say mental health is gentrified is crazy lol.
