This happened to me with my friends but like different friends have fallen for different grifts over the years, not everyone at once. I managed to get them all out of it. I think they fell into it cos they were scared? Were getting older and not a lot of answers have been given as to why things suck and grifter s*** gives an answer that aligns with a lot of ideas we grew up with so it feels right, idk. They aren't commies yet but they don't fall for grifters and been in long term relationships that seem healthy.
