harlem still in shambles . one of the most iconic hip hop moments in our lifetime. I believe that moment will have a lasting impact on culture especially the importance of live performance as well as bars
dipset lox verzuz inspired ye for sure on donda.
he flew out jada sheek and styles AS WELL AS jay elec hours after it ended. I think he is spending time rn writing bars cause of how inspiring the lox performance was that night. nothing can beat passionate hip hop bars, and i think that moment might have lit a light bulb
i see it changing up the output/ live performance aspect of artist in very near future as well, and wanna compile it all in this thread
lox griselda should of been the verzuz we needed tbh lox always been better then dipset, also Bars will always be better then any trap music out facts
Let’s not forget that Dipset have taken heaps of L’s throughout their careers
I wonder if ye would’ve flown dipset out if they had somehow won. Doubt it
prob not cause I don’t think Cam f***s with Ye like that and the Lox have always shown Ye love so he was probably even rooting for them all along
It really was an iconic moment that brought that feeling back. When people speak on hip hop culture this was it. All this hype and talk from two veteran street rap groups speak volumes on the quality of the music. When skills, originality, charisma, live performances really meant something. Hopefully everyone takes note.

bro relax griselda doesn’t have any dipset level anthems
ngl i still watch clips from it now. this will def be remembered for years to come the energy was insane fr
All time great performance. I been listening to hella old shot and radio freestyles since. I hope it does but sadly don’t think it will have that big of an effect on the upcoming artist of today.

i was talking about bars verzus battle
I couldn’t agree more man Cam too, the nigga naturally witty and funny in regards to that but I didn’t feel he really brought it that night
Cam had a couple of moments in the beginning when he clowned styles p outfit (WHAT THE F*** ARE YOU WEARING?!?!) right after their song ended and then when he said “WHAT THE F*** IS THIS ARMY?” after Lox did “Might D Block”.
I really thought Cam was gonna restore order but s*** went downhill quick.
Dips lost that hunger, chemistry, and family vibe since the rifts started to happen around 07 or so. soundcloud.app.goo.gl/BMyiZMNpuHUsuXM76 This right here is classic Dipset (rapping over Lox ironically) this is the energy that was missing. They had so much bravado!!!
songs I wish dipset would have performed

Bet, will do. Did you listen to Jims recent album? How is it
It's great. Jim been killing it lately
Jada cool but lox had no business winning that. I didn’t watch it but there must’ve been too much political and senile action involved in the making of dipsets setlist
I’m glad this happened, Kiss doesn’t have the greatest discography but there are other methods to prove a rappers greatness. This is why I stay on Kendrick to do more.

If you didn’t watch it you can’t say they didn’t reserve to win it. Jada’s catalogue is mid, but he can rap for days and really showcased it on that stage. And even though their albums are kinda mid, the individual bars and verses are hard as f*** and always have been!

I’m from Harlem and grow up on dipset. was a fan of kiss but not the biggest d block fan, i ain’t hiding that at all brotha. salute to the lox
