what did he lose? if he lost then u would be able to pinpoint areas where he experienced a loss. in which areas did drake experience a setback?

  • It hurt Drake but not his career. It'll be hard for someone to hurt his career. Meek's tweet was more damaging to his career.

    Let it go

Drake lost and Drake admits he lost

Your sexual fantasies of Drake winning isn’t gonna change what actually happened: Push disrespected Drake’s entire family lineage and all Drake could do is pull up a note pad and ignore the lyrics and diss the guy that had nothing to do with it

    LET IT GO

u say he lost. what did he lose due to push? I can't name one department where drake started doing badly cuz of push.

Great question! To answer it, i'll need to provide some context. Nas' first album, Illmatic (1994), was a CLASSIC. It was considered by many to be one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time. By 1999, his influence and fame were waning, and the 1999 album Nastradamus was considered absolute garbage. In contrast, Jay-Z was HOT. Every album was hot and critically acclaimed. So when Jay-Z dissed Nas at the Summer Jam (one line: "ask Nas, he don't want it with Hov"), and Nas responded with the Stillmatic freestyle, Jay-Z responded with Takeover, which was absolutely brilliantly crafted. It was the shot heard around the world, at the time one of the greatest disses ever imagined. It was universally acclaimed as the END of Nas, who was already seemingly at the end of his career (because his most recent release was two years ago and it was Nastradamus. Meanwhile, Jay-Z had just dropped Blueprint, the album he is most known for.).
Everyone knew Nas was going to respond, but no one expected Ether from Nas because he hadn't been hot since maybe 1996,1997. So, to finally answer your question:
Ether is considered the greatest diss track because it was the ultimate "come from behind" victory. A formerly great rapper, brilliantly dissed by the top rapper in the game, responded with the unexpected knockout blow that no one believed he was even capable of. It saved his career and hip-hop heads everywhere rejoiced that the Nas they had been missing since Illmatic was still here. From Quora.

You’re the worst of them all. You have serious mental issues. In all seriousness, please seek help. Because you put too much energy in a man you will never meet. Better yourself instead of putting all your sexual energy into fighting pointless debates
