Same as Drake tbf he was just coming off Meek beef where he won in a land slide and felt untouchable at the time. Clearly, he was feeling himself too and surprisingly dissed Push after Infrared. After the beef people question Aubrey's mob boss persona and especially his interview with Lebron afterwards lol

Scorpion is a solid album. Would have been better if he didn't add the shots but it didn't age badly. Don't forget that the boy managed to have God's Plan, Nice For What, In My Feelings all in the same album. That's absolutely insane. Both artistically and commercially.
The press release was actually a good move - he revealed the reason behind it and it made sense. I don't remember seeing ppl being mad about it after they got told why he did it.
Was TSOA embarrassing? Yes, sure. But it also ends right there. The general public didn't think about it any further so imo it's not as bad as push fans want it to be
