    Factoring in worldwide recognition?

    I personally think it's:

    1. Eminem
    2. Tupac
    3. Drake
    4. Snoop Dogg
    5. Kanye/50 Cent tied

Commercially? Jay-Z's success is more impressive imo

Jay-Z managed to be relevant from the 1990s to 2010s WITHOUT dying and getting a stimulus from that. He never had a peak as big because he didn't die, but he was still selling 500k first week in his late 40s.

If Jay-Z were to die he'd easily be as big as 2Pac legacy wise. It's just hard/unfair to compare people who died early to those who lived.

Think it might go like this:

    1.Eminem/Snoop Dogg
    2.Pac
    3.Notorious BIG
    4.Jay-Z
    5.MC Hammer(Let’s be honest)

Edit:this is actually a hard thing to list tbh. I easily forgot about Wayne,50 and Diddy(even though he’s barely a rapper).

He is known everywhere, he is married to Beyonce. He is one of the most known people in pop culture this century just off of that.

Also, again y'all are acting like people everywhere in random small countries knew 2Pac BEFORE he died which isn't true.

If Jay-Z were to die today it'd be a HUGE news event on par with MJ/Prince/etc's deaths, and he'd become well known everywhere with his legacy too. It's not fair to compare people who already died with those who are still alive and managed to last decades.
