I don’t even know who that is. I’m not saying there aren’t men that aren’t awkward/hateful towards women but that’s just what they are I don’t have to specify them using a term like that because to me that does nothing but further blur the lines of the internet and real life

it's a result of being hyper-online and wanting to be a part of something where one feels they belong. also paraphrasing someone else here but as a result of becoming part of this whole greater identity/purpose, it becomes harder to break out of it because it has expanded beyond day-to-day life issues
