Who do you think is on the internet? Fake people? Just because terminology originates or spurs from the internet, doesn't mean it doesn't mean anything. This is literally how language works and evolves. Words come from all sorts of places and we as a society come to a common understanding of what words mean.

It's pretty well understood what an loser is, and there's literally no point to arguing that it's some "internet word" because that doesn't change that they exist on the internet and real life.. (which, you know, are the same thing)

The internet is a part of real life with real people yes. To me though, there is a massive difference between people who use it as a tool, whether it be entertainment, education, whatever to help enhance their life off of it, as opposed to the people who dedicate their existence to the internet. There are levels in my opinion and when terminology like that is created I just feel like it further drives people down the ladder of the two. I’m not saying I’m right it’s just how I view it.
