As promised, listening to the albums I haven't heard yet in OP! Starting with Silver Jews - American Water right now.

personally the natural bridge is the best thing david berman ever recorded but i still like american water a lot i think it's an incredible entry point into indie rock. rip to the legend

David Berman is a bit of a blind spot for me. Only have heard Purple Mountains and his collabs with The Avalanches. I'll check out the natural bridge. Really enjoying this so far tbh, on People atm. First track didn't do much for me but the others have been stellar
Doohickey Cubicle one of the best names I’ve ever heard
Music is cool
I guess this would be more indie r&b tho

@Sir_Swagalot
The intro track sounded great at first but I got the idea it sounded like most indie stuff I find these days....until the vocoder towards the back end of the song
Then lafeta uti was when I knew I was in for a treat
Little Season is beautiful
Recife has been my mood the past days
Love the guitar work on jory II
Most of these tracks are around 6-8 minutes....this here might be the most epic song on the whole thing at 9 minutes.
This outro really caps the album off. Just some soft vocals over some synth work until the synth takes over and ends this amazing album. I’m prob bumping this all day
