well I mean the same thing could be said for Black people...

I feel that most people have negative feelings towards Asian people from my own experience, even if they arent completely malicious I still feel the negative portrayals through media are so concrete in the West

I don't blame Black people for feeling the same as well

my point is that while those things are true and are serious issues they don't represent everyone, and if we let all the negativity have more pull than the good things in this world life would really suck worse than it has to

I guess you can say I'm more Professor X than Magneto when it comes to these things

I feel you and I agree with you, it's important not to become jaded and think everyone hates you for no reason

but it's also important in my view to know what kind of subconscious biases people have against you even if they don't mean harm or anything

sometimes it allows for advantages to, like sometimes me being Asian people don't see me as a threat so I can move around certain areas easier but that is still a negative thought they have about me, I just use it to my advantage
