This show has hit the hbo awkward phase where every straight ambitious man has to be marginalized into an emotionally broken b**** and or villain (and not in a cool way like the sopranos). I give it one more season, a secret "final" season, if this continues based on hbo precedent (winning time, westworld, Tokyo Vice) and modern trends.. Shows getting in its own way, focusing on unnecessary rushed character flaws in the writing style in classic 2020s HBO fashion.. didn't need to make rishi into anything but an Ari gold type char this early into his char dev.

Writing made no sense. Why is he such a sought after premier trader if he's just lucky and actually overcompensating for his 20th century ari gold type machismo with ridiculous bets? How is he the best trader in London if he's only gotten this far off luck? He can ask Goldman Sachs's why they wanna hire him in a meeting if all he is is lucky?

Ari gold and Tony S worked as overly aggressive male characters because they were ACTUALLY good at what they did and smart. They took arguably one of their best chars and turned him into a whining "help me white girl!" B**** boy who clearly is one snow bump away from jumping off Big Ben 😂

Not to mention that whole line in season 2 about rishis dad teaching him "if you throw something into the universe it'll come back" but ZERO cameos from his parents? Are they dead? I guarantee you this episode was not written by a brown person lmaoo. It's as if his entire char is just some whining brown boy who become rich to cure his white women fetish. Complete lack of character dept, it's like they just wanted to turn an arrogant prick into a sniveling mamas boy

Shows no where near as good as fallout if we're talking "best show". Maybe it's first 2 seasons. And no Jon snow isn't gonna save them. At least baby yas and Harper's story lines are great 😮‍💨
