anyone y’all would be surprised to see show love?
anyone you’d be surprised who didn’t show love?
The dj premier comment under his post was a good one to see, it just shows you that the OGs always f***ed with drake from the start, it’s always been these new guys and rap wannabes not knowing this man’s flow and lyrics is too 5 💯
Factual, Aubrey is disgusting
Stop right now and take that hatin s*** else wear. Ain't no proof go stan a true pedophile like travis scott(cant wait till the world catch on about ruby rose lol)
Not surprised and well deserved
Wonder how Ye feels about it tho
Love Kanye, but he’s a narcissist and can’t stand when others win over him
In that case, Take Care wouldn’t exist without Abel and Take Care was the peak Drake’s career.
Therefore, Drake owes the peak of his career to Abel
Damn we still on this. So Abel working on 4 songs and not the other 18 tracks makes take care “his”.
40 the producer even said he was only in the studio for four days and the rest of production was done by 40 and drake.
Juss stop dattt

Would Take Care still be Take Care without Shot For Me, Practice, The Ride, and Crew Love?
Are u sure? From what I've heard the Grammys are the most important music achievement as far as awards go.
A Grammy vs an award celebrating a decade of musical success and achievement…
Yeah the AOTD is the greater get 🏆
Would Take Care still be Take Care without Shot For Me, Practice, The Ride, and Crew Love?
take care (single), marvins room, cameras/good ones go, lord knows.. underground kings cmon
Would Take Care still be Take Care without Shot For Me, Practice, The Ride, and Crew Love?
Yea it would because of headlines, over my dead body, hyfr, cameras, make me proud, Marvin’s room, take care, UGK, lord knows....I can name em all but would the ride be the ride without drakes incredible verse on there? Or would it just be able singing the ride for 4 minutes. can live without shot for me. Practice is beautiful. Crew love was a moment and introduced Abel to the world, so why wouldn’t he include that.
Also I forgot the real her, beautiful.
But you’re basically saying it would be a s*** album without 2 songs that The Weeknd actually penned as ballads for drake.
Would Take Care still be Take Care without Shot For Me, Practice, The Ride, and Crew Love?
Yes. The album would still have:
Over My Dead Body
Headlines
Take Care
Marvin's Room
Lord Knows
Cameras
Doing It Wrong
The Real Her
Look What You've Done
HYFR
The Motto
Remove the 4 songs Abel contributed to and replace them with Trust Issues, Dreams Money Can Buy, Club Paradise and Free Spirit and it becomes an even better album lmao.
All The Weeknd fans can hold on to are 4 songs he contributed to on a Drake album 10 years ago. They'll tell you The Weeknd made that album what it is yet he has never made an album half as good and he's 4 albums deep now. His best project is still a mixtape he released 11 years ago.
Meanwhile, Drake followed Take Care up with back to back classics in NWTS/IYRTITL.
Like I said earlier, Abel fans really have the audacity.
20 years from now, they'll still be holding on to the 4 songs their fave contributed to on Take Care because by then, it'll still be the best album he's ever been a part of.

I think it's finally starting to hit them that this artist they hate so much has his legacy solidified in history as the greatest, is being celebrated as such, and there's nothing they can do about it.

Drake has always been solidified. They're the ones who started the narrative that Drake was trying to ruin The Weeknd or stifle his career when he wanted the opposite for him. Even with all the success Abel has seen (especially with his last album), Drake is still heavens bigger than him as an artist with one-tenth of the effort lol. The only classic I can link to Abel is HOB. That's it. Thursday/EOS are good mixtapes but they're not classics. He still doesn't have an album that's regarded as a classic.
Drake has MULTIPLE classic mixtapes AND albums that Abel had absolutely nothing to do with and his fans still have the guts to talk s***. It always makes me laugh lol.
Now hear me out. I like drake but perhaps all those questions about drake's artistry is what's holding back ppl from truly appreciating him these days. Look regardless if u believe it or not, meek and push t pushing the ghostwriter narrative has become attached to him. I get in arguments all the time with ppl who dont like drake because they bring that up. It's a cloud that is hanging over him, rather it's TRUE or not and I think that is hurting him and his perception these days. Not to mention that to a majority of ppl his last true great project was iyrtit(not me I love views and more life and scorpion has lots of good songs and dldt is underrated) this is why I was mad at the snippet for that fair trade song. I think the only way ppl are going to go back to truthfully respecting him is if those talks and rumors turn out to not be true and that he drops a new classic but in order for him to do that he needs to ditch the radio sound and sounding like today's artist and get more experimental and creative and so far from what we've heard i dont think clb has any songs like that. This is my opinion. Its either this or a lot of people in the industry are really jealous and have plotted to dirty his name by throwing all the negative stuff that's been attached to him since 2018 and if that's the case we just gotta hope the truth will come out eventually
Y’all still writing paragraphs about Abel? When he had his own success to celebrate last night?

Right, s*** weird regardless of which stance is being taken

in my experience on here most Drake stans hate Abel and constantly bring him up
but most Weeknd stans still like Drake or just have no strong opinion on him either way
obviously theres exceptions on both sides, but that seems like the consensus

Would you not say that his influence is on other songs on the album though?
I mean he was fw with his music enough to get him to work on the album, so it stands to say he obviously would have influenced other songs
I think the statement "Take Care wouldn't be the album it is without the weeknd" riles up so much unnecessary hurt inside people
its not a slight at Drake
It's not saying Abel wrote the whoel album
it's just the truth - If one of the biggest collaborators from an album was removed, it wouldn't be the same album
