what I've heard from others who have listened to the snippets is this new album sounds more personal and less character/story driven than previous efforts...won't know for sure until the full thing is out though...I also really enjoyed FFF and Flip the Rat but didn't care for Lure as much so definitely hoping all the delays were worth it and they come through with a banger rather than a dud...especially with J's health issues you never know which album could be their last at this point
I'd love a Westside Gunn/ICP collab but idk if that's ever happening lol I definitely see the similarities there though...both have a love for wrestling (ICP actually were wrestlers and worked under WWF, WCW, and TNA along with plenty of indie promotions) and Psychopathic's merch game at one point was something pretty much any other indie act was jealous of...Tech N9ne's talked about touring their warehouse when Strange Music was getting started and was inspired by how they did their merch...Odd Future's early run reminded me of ICP/juggalos too...the way they just acted outrageously in public and in the music, Tyler jumping from balconies onto crowds, etc.
the music itself is an acquired taste and I'll never argue that lol I can completely understand how someone could listen to their music and it just not be for them...my argument though is they've released so much music since the early 90's that I feel like it's impossible not to find some songs in their collection that can be enjoyed by anyone (as you mentioned with the Chicken Huntin song which seems to be a popular one amongst casual/non juggalo listeners)
Yeah, I remember when they were in WCW with that guy Vampiro! And I wonder if casuals like “Chicken Huntin’” because it was in that Backyard Wrestling video game? I can’t imagine it was the only song of theirs on the soundtrack but it’s the only one that I remember. Also never thought about that re: Odd Future, very true. Instead of Faygo they had donuts and bacon, I guess?

yeah and Tyler even does his own Gathering-type festival every year...obviously a difference in the type of music but a lot of Tyler's earlier dark storytelling stuff reminded me of how ICP does theirs just a lil different
this also getting ready to be released

yeah lol Shaggy was just drunk and goofing around doing that...had he wanted to kick Fred off stage he would have he just wanted to do some funny s*** and I think his buddy dared him to do it or some s***
I'ma peep that Bizkit album tonight
What’s the gimmick of this card
First female Joker Card and also supposed to be about loyalty...kind of gets lost on its way like alot of their more recent efforts lol
The weak points of the album are the poor mixing at times...the last song is basically ruined by being too f***in quiet and on Heart & Soul the 2nd half of their verses get drowned out by the overbearing singing of the guest appearance...Gangsta Code also suffers from some iffy mixing...otherwise it's a solid effort from the clowns though I think I prefer their last album FFF over this as a whole

just listened to it a few hours ago and from the first listen FFF is so much better even though i think the last couple songs on that are meh. bedlam starts falling apart right when the second half hits outside of a few tracks imo.

I can agree with that...dont care for the last song at all (a bummer since their end songs on albums are usually a highlight) and Slapnut is just kind of there as well lol there's still some great moments but all in all doesn't feel like a Joker Card and reminds me of a slightly better version of Lost which I didn't care for much at all...this one grows on you a bit but still has its issues for sure
