Europe is looking more and more like a tinderbox every passing year

This is only the start of ppl expressing just how upset they are about their country’s being ruined and turned to World Economic Zones™️ by infinity migration.

Despicable. I expect better from Ireland. They have brought great shame to their country.

    • Housing crisis is the biggest issue in Ireland, but Ireland like any other country rn has issues with reactionaries which is why these riots are happening

Ppl no longer care about labels like this, calling anti-immigration sentiment as racist doesn’t work anymore

Are you the same poster asking why they weren’t protesting about housing? The issue is one and the same. I wish people in my country would take days off school because they now can’t buy a house unless born rich instead of the other thing

Infinity migration exists to prop up asset values for the political cabal, it’s really that simple. Everyone else suffers

You're a f***ing idiot who knows nothing about Ireland and clearly you're not capable of basic reading either because no, I did not say that. Shut the f*** up you vile rat. If Ireland was so opposed to migration they would not be 90% in favour of continued EU membership. One of the most pro EU country in the world. Yes it is possible to be anti immigrant and pro EU but the far right has zero traction in Ireland. this is not the start of anything

At least in a country like Ireland, you and your despicable scum bag kind are nothing but a lunatic racist tiny minority. I would spit on you for your efforts to deflect from the racist thuggery of your far right brethren. Rat

The attacker was an irish citizen and has been living in Ireland for a long time, so he didn't come in this latest great wave of immigration that you're most likely speaking of.

Ironically, a brazilian immigrant that did come in the past few years, from what i've read, is the one that stopped him.

    How about that huh?

On a side note, as an EU citizen - it's very scary what's been going these past few years - look at the recent Dutch elections and now this. Economies around the EU are going down, inflation is rampant and has been killing us, the first large war on European soil in the past few decades...
The people are getting desperate and are turning their anger towards the ones that have come here looking to make a living to help their families back home instead of the ones that have brought this upon us - the f***ing fat f***s sitting in our parliaments and jerking their cocks off in Bruxelles.

    That isn’t ironic.

You can be anti-immigration (the current unsustainable policies of many places around the world) and still accept that a controlled flow of ppl into your country is for the greater good. Provided they’re skilled workers (not a quasi slave class for big corps to take advantage off like what happens where I live) and accept/assimilate into the local culture

Let's be real - these protests aren't about that.
They aren't shouting GET THEM OUT and burning immigrant hotels because they want a more controlled flow of immigration.

They are a direct reaction to the awful socio-economical state in which most of us in the EU are in right now, but completely misdirected.
As in the past, times like these sway people towards the far-right spectrum and that's what's been happening in Ireland, as it has been happening in France, Netherlands, etc.

And I agree about assimilating into local culture, but as coming from someone in the EU - neither the state nor the local people in my country care too much about helping them assimilate either, so it's def not a one-sided coin.

right wing populism probably isn’t going to completely take over europe, it never seems to get a majority

however it is likely to be a persistent feature of european politics for a while

I agree with you, they probably aren’t. Suppose I’m just presenting my personal view on things. But as per my original post, and your second paragraph here, it isn’t surprising. There’s a strong vibe of discontent as the picture gets worse domestically in a lot of western nations.

People are emotional not logical. Brexit was the same; it won because the average joe was worried about Polish truck drivers, even though it was always a bad decision and they were going to get swindled by a ruling political/business class who, again, are the only ones to benefit from the immigration policies they implement

Don't agree. We could live in a paradise and there would still be an element of racist far right rats looking for an excuse to cause trouble and rally against foreigners and those different from them. That needs to stop being used as an excuse for these vermin.

I always hold my heart hoping its not a muslim when someone commits an act of terror but at this point people just need to learn to threat everyone as an individual instead of holding an entire group accountable for what 1 person does

Okay now I see that you kinda have the same angle as me, I also don't like antagonizing white people for things done in the past or by some white folks.
I do however feel like it's my responsibility (as a black man) to call out black people on their hypocrisy when some of us are racist towards white people (for example).
