As much as I loved the characters and the show Issa and Lawrence were a toxic relationship.
first season had anna Kendrick right? thought it looked a lil corn but I am hearing positive things about season 2
might start it at work, I'll check in on that thread if I f*** with it
I watched the first episode of the Anna kendrick season and it was mad corny. S2 seems more interesting though
Pretty good ending to an amazing show, great songs on this episode too. Gonna miss the f*** out of this show and all the characters

Straight up. The soundtracks/playlists for each season were always so good. It'd be interesting to see Issa do something that dealt more with music, but doesn't seem likely judging from her thoughts on the music industry
Overall I’m satisfied with the finale. I think after a while, there just wasn’t much story left to get out of these characters. It’s a show about friendship and growing up and by the end of it you see the growth in all the characters. honestly it’s been a beautiful journey. I’m glad a show like this got made. Great black female representation and great black male representation across the board. I mean I don’t think I’ve ever seen a character like Lawrence on TV before, someone that I can truly identify and find similarities with. It blew my mind to see a character like Lawrence handled with such maturity and care. He felt like a friend I’d know or a cousin. Issa and Molly are also so beautifully written. The black woman experience is showcased so well through them. It’s always great to see black characters that are just REGULAR people, it’s refreshing. I’ve been watching this show since my late teens and now 6 years later in my early mid 20s I feel I’ve grown with it but also feel like it is inspiring me to truly LIVE more, experience more. Care for my family, treat my friends better and handle my romantic experiences with care. Not tryna make a monologue or anything but just wanted to give my final thoughts on this series and its effect on me.
