I think they’re a parody account.
Yeah I said the same thing last page. Satirizing reviewers I think
I found Inside Out 2 to be quite a delight. It does such a great job capturing the emotions that a teenager goes through while also expanding on the creativity of the first. It’s a little bit of a rehash of the first, but with enough new elements to make it a good watch. I think the performances from the leads were great, including some great work from the new emotions such as Maya Hawke’s Anxiety and Ayo Edebiri’s Envy. Their voice performances sold the character they were playing.
The conflict in this film was unexpected to me, but when it got into it I thought “why didn’t I think this was going to be it.” It made for a nice adventure inside the mind of a teenage girl. It’s funny throughout with some of the sight gags being the best ones. I found the overall story to be pretty compelling and the Uncut Gems comparisons that some gave it are actually kind of warranted.
Visually, this is Pixar at the top of their game. It was so great seeing this stunning animation on an “IMAX” screen for the first time in quite some time (last Pixar movie I saw in theaters was Lightyear and that was like 3 weeks after release on a smaller screen). Some of the animation choices were nice to see from Pixar and this film is very beautiful to look at.
It’s not perfect. Compared to the first, I didn’t feel as emotional during this film. It’s got some moments that make me ponder, but it doesn’t get to the level of Pixar emotion that they’re known for, at least for me.
Overall I think Inside Out 2 is a worthy follow up to the first, which is a film I didn’t think could get a good sequel. I hope this film does well and makes Pixar realize that theatrical is the way to go, because seeing a Pixar film on the big screen will always feel special.

What happened?
In a recent interview Pete Docter said Pixar needs to focus less on autobiographical and personal stories. Instead they should be focusing on stories that have mass appeal. It was really discouraging in context, but hopefully these first reactions to Inside Out 2 are genuine.

"Inside Out 2 didn't just change my life, but the meaning of life itself. Pixar has both redefined and transcended what it means to be human. In 10,000 years, when the works of mankind are as dust, this film will remain as incontrovertible proof that joy is possible." - David Ehrlich
Is this an inside joke I’m not understanding? Where did he say this?
“So perfectly ticks Pixar’s boxes in a way that forces the sincerity of its storytelling into a losing battle with the cynicism of its existence.”
