ellieFor sure — and the fact that a lot of the time, when you meet IRL, the vibes aren’t at all the same and it just kinda becomes awkward
I feel like the dopamine hit of the initial “getting them” experience ends and people get bored/realize that isn’t what they’re looking for
In a weird way, I think a lot of people use Tinder just to talk to people and to see where it goes, not really with a solid intention to do things. If you're just there to hook up, you're generally very forward with that, you make it known to the other person

Unironically. Yelp can be a good dating app. Sometimes I be reading reviews and I see the profile pic and I'm like damn she's hot. You can click on it and see other pictures plus you get a sense of the type of stuff they like based on where they go and the style of their review.
