I dont even love this movie like that, but this scene hits me every time

it’s just so good. McConaughey kills it. the Zimmer score just perfect for the moment.Both Timothe and Affleck hit on their videos, the audible crying from coop specifically after his son shows him the picture of his new girl is just gutting. His son letting him know he has to let him go. and then Murph telling him they’re the same age. like cmon bruh. the sadness is just profound

movie is fire i didn't know people hated

even if its just for the space shots, when they have spaceships flying around with no noise and then all of a sudden the score kicks in... its great

Im not even a Kubrick stan tho but at least Kubrick stans got going for them that 2001 actually influenced the whole medium something which Nolan could only dream of, respectfully.

He’s good at what he does but if you can’t see the genius in 2001 i believe there’s a big chance you haven’t really given it a fair shot or seen it on a big screen

Yeah but thats cause its not a great film lmao at least most of the people agree on that. Id say its his most flawed film by far. Tenet gets worse for me with every rewatch.

But besides Tenet all they do is suck off Nolan. What’s so annoying about most of the Nolan stans you come across (talking about the ones outside of ktt) it’s that they don’t know any filmmakers and still say “X or Y Nolan film is one of the best ever made!!”

I’m not being pretentious here, if somebody actually feels that way that’s fine with me. But you can’t just say he’s such a goat when you can only name like 5 directors tops feel me plus theyre the most vocal stans out there
