Ygor Sunnyjust lost a whole written song. from notes app. 2 days worth of notes because of a naive decision to click the notes icon on my mac...
no warning of data loss. nothing. I'm switching to android and will vehemently bad mouth iphone/iOS any chance that I can get now.

It's getting to the point where I want to personally insult members of their dev team.
do not f***ing try to be productive with the notes app. it's absolutely dog s***.
and all the motherfuckers who're gonna come at me about saving...that's what I did...
and for some reason I lost 2 days of notes...in notes with the app open with absolutely no warning. this file sandbox bullshit is OS breaking for me.
I thought the notes app was linked via Mac and iPhone, so how?
Jan 8, 2022Ygor SunnyI’ve got an iPhone and it’s trash IMO. There are some really cool advanced tools and features. That doesn’t excuse basic s*** like a gallery that you can access directly. I’m not trying to scrub past videos/photos. I want to at a glance se the names of my files and select the appropriate one. NIGGAS CAN READ!

I’ve had the same s*** happen with using Apple Music on Mac while updating a playlist on my phone. Like why is there even such a massive lag in syncing
I do love iOS Apple Music fwiw, but s*** like that is just asinine. I’m fully locked into the ecosystem at this point, though. I’m a Logic Pro X user and that alone is going to keep me on macOS flaws and all.

Probably not worth the time + money to develop a separate app when looking at the number of macOS users compared to the number of windows users

Generally I agree, but Microsoft office app is clutch af to make a quick pdf on your phone when you have to submit a document in a pinch

still messing around with iphone (got mine free) but am def looking to upgrade in the near future.
