its not terrible, just not my kind of ipod
Feeling the weight of the iPod classic in your pocket though
Pause
Big facts I honestly think I could rock my 30 gig iPod video to this day such an amazing piece of tech
Use my classic occasionally still. And to be fair not everyone listens or cares to listen to albums. Even today people just follow whatever playlist spotify generates for them, or pandora.
Some people just listen to the radio dog. Some people just had portable radios.
People wilding
Yeahhhh. Casual listeners are so different. My girl is one. Doesn't give af about albums.
My mom only buys greatest hits compilations and listens to radio.

I still have mine. I used to download music videos, movies and YouTube series that I fw for long flights.
Way ahead of its time. Still holds up.
I thought it was one of the dumbest things Apple has ever released. What was the point of it? You couldn’t listen to a specific song. Sure it was small for for exercise but if you was using a gadget for exercise you should have just gotten the iPod Nano.
The iPod classic was amazing though. Before streaming, it was honestly the best way to listen to digital music.
funny bc i was reconsidering copping a classic not long ago

May need to dig mine up from my mom’s house for the nostalgia trip

iTunes Store for individual songs, physical CDs converted to iTunes for albums (I always converted my entire cd collection and loved the process rather than buying albums on store), and datpiff for mixtapes.
I feel like I connected with music more those days
have one rn sitting on my nightstand. i found it recently reorganizing my room and it was on the charger too (it charges through the headphone jack — nuts) so i charged it up and it had some s*** from 9th grade on it LMAO probably the worst device and i only used it when my parents took away my s***

I remember I had the click on joint to put on my shirt when I was running. Boy was that a waste of money 😭
makes me feel better knowing my parents got it for free from some work thing and they gave it to me because they never knew how to use it
I mean it was probably dope at the time
I was around. It was trash and I couldn’t get my head around why anybody would opt to for over the nano or mini. You can just shuffle on mini if it’s about shuffle and the mini is good for lightweight when exercising.
I will never understand the existence of the Shuffle. No wonder it’s discontinued.
those cheap phillips one you could cop at walmart for $30 used to be gas lowkey when i was a kid
i remember i had michael jackson’s greatest hits on it, my first favorite artist

Greatest hits makes sense for a shuffle
Edit: oh Phillips! I misread
its supposed to be for singles if u think about it
songs were only ever 99 cents and i think this thing costed like 30 bucks lol
I had a Zune because I was trying to be different lol. It got the job done though
