Until Ye starts saying anti semitic s*** in his music, I think it’s fair to keep listening. Especially in particular his previous albums. But when he starts talking red media in his music or gets features from conservative folk and make the worst music of his life, it’s only going to make it harder to listen to his past material

"The Jews share their truth on how to make a dime"
Saint Pablo
only one line but it feels a lot more sour looking backwards.
and he had Jay Electronica with that Rothschild line on Donda.
Then again, I def agree with you. Many of his previous albums and I'll def keep listening to his new albums (not knowing how tho) but I fear the lyrical content will be garbage.
Cinematography was great but music being unfinished and the live performances being a mess stained it
yeah I can def appreciate the cinematography and set design but everything else was a wreck
Seeing how much of a coon/fuck nigga he is, it turned me off from his music tbh. CD and LR don’t even hit the same.
idc if it’s right or wrong, the music has hit less and less each year for me
him denouncing CD and LR just make ‘em unlistenable. it’s embarrassing what he was saying on drink champs
graduation is cool for a party setting but doesn’t have the same euphoric feeling it once had
even fantasy and pablo is getting tiring for me just off of how much i played them + not feeling ye
yeezus, despite how much foreshadowing it has, doesn’t have the same edge to it
808s only one i’ll probably keep off the strength of say you will

Once a year, I like deluding myself into thinking that we’re still in 2013. Otherwise i completely agree
When I first heard Kells I was almost entirely sure he was a nonce, so it wasn't like there was a huge blow finding out. Kanye isn't evil like Kells, it's just become apparent that he's really, really, really f***ing annoying so his music has unfortunately plummeted in my estimation by association. I listen to less Kelly for moral reasons, whereas I listen to less Kanye because he's so annoying.

Even some of his old music hits different if you listen to it in the context of him subbing Jewish people

a big part of it is that i been listening to him non stop since like idk 14/15? so it’s just burnt out, i got like this with radiohead too
once u listen to like b sides daily it can get to a point where the artist is boring
but with him being such a d***, i just have no incentive to even try to find the spark in his stuff again

Aside from radiohead being a genesis for my creative impulses and aesthetic preferences I haven’t been on that “this is the greatest band of all time” shtick for 2 years now.
However I’ve listened to this probably 80 times since thursday

Thinking of going to the smile shows next month even tho i dont love the album

i didn’t even listen to it, that’s how much i needed a break but a hinge date showed me the smoke or something like that and the groove was tight
I dunno man I couldn’t even listen to R Kelly. Even before the MeToo era popped off and cancelled him
Also all the Ye albums are worth listening to despite the politics besides the ones after KSG
Who, but men who hate women, listens to R. Kelly?
As for Ye: young people will probably continue to listen no matter what, but once you turn 20 or so you will develop a better taste and turn to other music regardless.
