I have been thinking it over a lot this past year and now with the vaccine out there how many of you have got it? Have you got the booster to go with it? I am considering it but the thought of a full all in one cure just makes more sense instead of multiple doses that only seem to wave it off temporarily and don't even offer 100% protection at that. I been masked up grocery shopping and usually stay home anyway so I think I can keep this going until the cure is ready. Who else is waiting
was gonna tbh but just got my second shot recently. Too many restrictions already + incoming and I live with my grandma
That’s not how that works my guy
This…respiratory viral infection don’t really have “cures.” The term cure really doesn’t have a strong place in a soft science like medicine, most things aren’t cures, more so ways to manage the ailments.

You think there's more money in treatment of it than a cure? Is that what you're referring to?
I’m so curious to what you think a cure for an infectious disease is ???? Other than you know vaccines
Like there is never gonna be a magic pill that eliminates this, and if there was that’s still called a vaccine

Viruses are nearly impossible to “cure”.
The best you can hope for is to be vaccinated or treat the symptoms and let the virus run its course.
Thats why you can’t fully remove some viruses like HIV or Herpes from someone’s body after they’ve caught it.
Thought OP was anti-vaxx but I think he's just confused on what a vaccine is
I just think the vaccines they threw together have turned out to be a band-aid solution instead of a real final answer. This is a whole science so it's very complicated and I wouldn't expect one this year but in the near future. We should have better vaccines by then so I may consider getting one of those

The vaccines out right now do curb infection though, but from my understanding the problem is as the virus keeps spreading, variants emerge and those vaccines get less effective against them. The solution is to limit the spread as much as possible which is why I think you should get the vaccine. If u just wait forever until a miracle vaccine then you'll just be exarcebating the problem.

the real final answer would be vaccine mandates and lockdowns, so that spread can be limited, reducing the number of possible variants that can avoid the vaccine, avoiding the “band-aid” solution aspect of it
This means that COVID cannot mutate into a form that vaccines cannot tackle while also making it easier for medical professionals to ensure everyone is vaccinated instead of playing catchup
i seen a study that said LONG TERM catching covid is better and more effective than the vaccine, ive had both covid and the vaccine so my s*** like fort knox im not tripping

Yes but that means catching Covid
Just vaccinate yourself right now and then when you’re exposed down the line just know that your body will either fight it off or learn to fight it off better

b**** are you ed
There’s a pattern emerging between vax skeptics and their intelligence
“The idea of a cure would be makes sense in my head”
Oh in your head you say? f***ing nuts dude
