I was going to just take monoclonal antibodies if I got covid, but I’m a healthcare worker and my employer says they will require it soon. They accept exemptions but I might just take the vaccine

But as a healthcare worker you should already know that theres less information known about the long term effects of the monoclonal treatment than that of the vaccine
I have been thinking it over a lot this past year and now with the vaccine out there how many of you have got it? Have you got the booster to go with it? I am considering it but the thought of a full all in one cure just makes more sense instead of multiple doses that only seem to wave it off temporarily and don't even offer 100% protection at that. I been masked up grocery shopping and usually stay home anyway so I think I can keep this going until the cure is ready. Who else is waiting
If you understand the underlying science of the vaccines you'd know that you need the boosters to get your immune system response to where your system would be had you got infected with the virus. However this doesn't apply to every single disease, there are some diseases out there that only need 1 shot for immunity, others that need annual boosters, etc.
Diseases and the ability to catch diseases DO NOT go away after you've gotten any vaccine. It's just not how vaccines were made. Immune means that your body has a better chance at fighting the disease compared to had it not gotten the vaccine. I urge that you get the vaccine because it will prevent you from getting deathly sick from the virus. That doesn't mean you can't live without the vaccine but the consequences of not getting the vaccine and catching the virus can kill you.
