I mean I definitely have some ADHD attributes. I can not focus in class. I cant retain any information. I can not remember what I read and have to go back and then when I actually read it, I just forget. Stuff like that. I mentioned it to my psych, and they put me on Wellbutrin

HOV INNOCENTI can see the confusion though because inability to maintain eye contact and even not understanding social cues can seem to be relatively “normal” for a shut in I feel

I haven’t been diagnosed, but I’m a 28 year old man without basic social skills. There has to be something intrinsically wrong with my brain for me to get to this point

No, it's a legitimate disorder recognized on the DSM-5 criteria. Just because someone's an 'introvert' or is socially awkward doesn't even come close to the other parts of aspergers.
Sensory issues, language delays, bad or below normal coordination, inability to maintain eye contact, not understanding social cues, etc.
Can't really compare that to your typical 'shut-in'.
This is why I don’t take a few self diagnoses seriously
If you can hold down a job/have an active social life since a child
chances you have autism is very low having a few social awakward moments doesn’t equal that

Depends on severity its not neccesarily a struggle but yeah there's always certain tics and patterns

I dont enjoy socializing tho. I have social anxiety and I stay in my room most days
