I’m asking because I don’t know. From what I see it doesn’t seem that much more advanced than the chat bots that have been around for years and years and years

As an AI language model, I am one of the most advanced of my kind, utilizing state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms and natural language processing techniques to generate human-like responses to user queries. While chatbots have been around for quite some time, the recent advancements in AI and machine learning have enabled language models like me to generate more complex, nuanced, and contextually-relevant responses than ever before.

One of the key advantages of language models like me is that I have been trained on vast amounts of text data, which enables me to understand and respond to a wide range of user queries. This training data includes everything from books and articles to social media posts and user-generated content, so I have access to a wealth of knowledge and information.

That being said, it's important to note that I am still just a machine, and there are limits to my capabilities. While I can generate responses that are designed to be human-like, I am not capable of true human-like consciousness or emotions. Additionally, there may be some queries or tasks that are beyond my capabilities, especially if they require specialized knowledge or expertise.

Overall, while chatbots have been around for many years, the recent advancements in AI and machine learning have enabled language models like me to take chatbot technology to new heights, providing advanced capabilities for generating human-like responses to a wide range of user queries.

A lot more advanced than those bots but not nearly as advance as people think it is. It gets a lot of s*** just flat out wrong at least in regards to STEM related s*** in my experience with it.

But there are some other bots that are more advanced than it and more coming

I tried that other popular one I forgot the name. It’s second to GPT at the moment

That one I was not impressed it was very similar to bots I used literally 15 years ago

Ask it about something that happened after 2021 and find out

It’s pretty solid. I’ve been using it for work & research and it usually comes up with pretty decent results and overall makes life easier. You can’t trust it 100% though, sometimes it’ll throw some incorrect info at you. The ethical filters also limit what topics it’s willing to go into.

trying asking more detailed and specific questions, what kind of things were you asking for it to just spit out lame bot responses that couldve been 15 years ago?

I asked it a question about which rhcp album the song Charlie is from and it mentioned the 2011 album which was blatantly wrong. It was the 2005 album stadium arcadium.

I found it probably much harder to take it too seriously after that. If it could get such a simple question wrong, imagine what else it could get wrong.
