Real answer is features don't matter when it is someone you don't like. When people don't like someone they try to discredit everything they do.

Keep in mind that Cole's success from 2014-2018 with no features and in-house production was very unprecedented.

Nigga was outselling a lot of the rap game with far less help and support.

He has a strong core fanbase like Drake and Kendrick and he was sort of the middle child(no pun) of both of their styles.

Cole can spit hard and have conscious/introspective/concept songs like Kendrick and put out catchy hits and relationship songs with melodies like Drake.

He also is currently a stronger emcee than the other 2 rn.

Oh and he produced probably like 75% of his music. Solid record label with a lot of range that has 4 great compilation albums. Biggest artist led hiphop festival for 5 years now.
