    DNA, Humble, Element, Yah, Pride, Loyalty, Love and God arent classic level

    The rest of the songs are very good tho. Damn is a good album, 7/10 but s*** aint a classic. Its Kendricks attempt at making a Mainstream album. POP.

    i think so, but tbh the whole album in reverse thing to me is corny and totally a gimmick, other than that the album is goat

    I don’t care about one single persons review. Critics hated illmatic when it came out lol. Who cares. It’s still a classic.

    Critics didn’t hate Illmatic. It had 5 mics from the source which was THE review publication of the time

    I loved Damn when it came out but thats it, I have no desire to listen to it again besides Fear, XXX and Lust. Its a good album like EA or Die for my b****, its enjoyable music but it isnt remarkable like GKMC, TPAB, Yeezus, MBDTF, Piñata, etc. s*** even UU is more classic than DAMN

    Thats all personal opinion. It might not have been for you and that’s ok. But that doesn’t negate its classic status. If your only reason for saying an album isn’t a classic is “it didn’t age well to me or I didn’t like it” then you aren’t looking at all the factors that make something a classic.

    That’s exactly how we determine classics. Once time passes and the influence isn’t there then you make the judgement at time.

    Also DAMN. Outperformed NWTS in every metric except probably sales. More acclaimed. More hits. Won more awards. Literally every metric is beats NWTS.

    Okay ,I guess we'll see in time but I doubt it . Kendrick will probably drop more than 2 albums way better than damn and damn will lose its impact. We'll remember humble being a huge song tho

    I doubt it. It’s already being taught as poetry in IB English classes.

    Won more prestigious awards
    Common and Joe Budden said DAMN. Is a classic
    More classic tour and stage performances lol

    And DAMN. Is the only album of those that still being streamed at a high level. No one plays 4:44 lol and you know it.

    All the criteria y’all used to say TPAB wasn’t a classic y’all use to say 4;44 is a classic. Except TPAB is way more accomplished and actually a better album
