No but it’s solid as hell.
I place it above TLOP, Ye and JIK. Despite flaws, it’s his best overall work since Yeezus
If I were to rank Donda rn it'd be:
LR
MBDTF
Grad
808's
CD
Yeezus
Donda
TLOP
Ye
JIK
Yeezus and Donda are neck-in-neck for me right now. This list changes frequently depending on my mood tho. It just doesn't touch the top 3 imo. Those albums are perfect in my eyes.
Feel like this would be my exact rankings too
Whats your favorite song on the record

1000000% I've said it a bunch of times that Kanye's legacy is cemented. Anything good is icing and anything bad is just whatever. Getting something of this level from a 44 year old in hip hop is a blessing.

mike dean does all his playback through ableton for live shows and in it theres a feature where ableton will change the timing of the audio file its playing based on the tempo of the "live set" and when youre quickly passing back stems etc sounds back and forth quickly its super easy to forget to turn it off edit :: and this can be present even if the file and the live set are in the same tempo

Oh yeah I totally agree, this brought back the Kanye feeling that we all know & love
It still doesn’t feel real to me, this whole roll out was so good & the fact the album hasn’t lost it’s novelty despite being out in some form for weeks is amazing
F*** no
LR
808s
YEEZUS
donda ain’t topping any of those
Same top 3
this thread has proved to me that ranking 808s & Heartbreak is almost impossible for me
like I love the album of course but DAMN where do i put lt

Damn that’s crazy, that sounds like an audiophile type thing. My ears aren’t good enough to tell, that’s wild
