The nigga has become so pretentious I'm starting to notice the shortcomings in his music. For example he doesn't quite hit the notes sometimes and his songwriting can be basic here and there. That's not to mention the obviously failed trap rap experiments.

Frank ain’t Tyler

Frank loosies used to be the best s*** ever.

I really feel that Frank was testing the waters with the singles, and Dear April is one of the most emotional songs I have heard in a long time

I also lowkey think that Frank is doing d**** and partying more then he used to and that it affects his music.

I know he drops allot of d*** refs on Blond but the album seems very sober to me.
I think he went thru allot of s*** after dropping Channel Orange and decided to take control of his life and situation and became sober, and then after Blond dropped I think he felt he accomplished what he wanted and was in a better space and decided to start partying again

I’ve said it before, Dear April is about the first single since Chanel that’s close to album level.

Everything else has felt subpar, although Lens is my personal favourite. Regardless you’re right the entire rap thing didn’t go so well for him. His flow on In My Room is f***ing complete mess.

I’m not a rap expert or anything but to my ears he’s no where near his peak in the rap tracks.

Dear April shows incredible promise so fingers crossed.
