It 100% still worth it. If you're interested in any nintendo games i'd say pick one up.

There will prob be a pro model, I don't think it will do 4k or anything but, maybe perform better on some games.

It definitely is, Nintendo's always been for fun. The only downside would be performance but if you dont care that much about playing games @ 1080p 60fps then its not an issue, the games quality more than make up for that
