I sometimes find it hard to believe there are people in 2020, that actually believe in some mythical world we go to after death ruled over by some mysterious deity.

religion made sense if your life was like Game of Thrones
not when you live in the modern era

That's why I specified 2020. Like believing something like that in modern times just seems crazy to me. Especially because it's like dude these are literally all just ideas passed orally from people that lived in a time where bleeding someone was believed to cure hella illnesses and niggas believed in witches. Like how is it everything else from that period of time is laughable, but religion is the one thing people are still like yeah that's a real.

worst part is how religious people justify their hypocrisy with "jesus died for my sins/god made us sinners"
i understand you have to go to church because it's the only social club you can be apart of or it helped guide your life out of complete misery, but cut the s***

And does the whole thing not sound kind of ridiculous to even think about? The literal creator of everything, including sin, created humans to be capable of sin. Then created a son, then had that son die for said sins that he himself created and gave us the capability to commit. Like man what

I don't want to start
Any blasphemous rumors
But I think that God's
Got a sick sense of humor
And when I die
I expect to find Him laughing
