It's scarier than most of the movies listed ITT but not really all that scary. More just upsetting and suffocating.

Honestly what movies are actually scary when you are older? This is a great horror film. One of the best of modern horror. It is soo disturbing and has some gruesome scenes. Excellent execution all around.

Not many horrors are scary these days. This is among the best but the bar is low for horror films

Audition scared the hell out of me as an adult. Was so disturbed the first time I saw it that I couldn't sleep right that night.

It's even more f***ed up when the movie gets you comfortable with the romance plot only to turn it on its head.

But then I'm sure there are people who wouldn't find it scary at all because that's subjective. A lot of modern horror I find way too polished to be scary.

I saw Audition years ago and need to rewatch it, but yeah man... That is one messed up movie lol.

Personally I wasn’t actually scared by it. However, my mom was a big horror fan so maybe I have been desensitized a bit because I’ve watched this genre since I was a little kid.

The climax of this movie is really, really bad

Saw this s*** in 35mm a couple years back and it was choice. Gotta give it another watch when I’m ready.
