imagine thinking movies are scary
just turn on the news lol that's really spooky
ok this edgy

100%. I cant think of a movie that was that unique. Mf’s really gonna say it’s overrated yet call “it follows” a classic. S*** was masterful film making. That didint follow the same trends every other director in horror has been doing since the 2000s
It's unique but it's not the scariest movie of modern times
Kidnapped (2010)
The Woman (2011)
Excision (2012)
Hatchet III/Evil Dead (2013)
The Babadook (2014)
The Devil's Candy (2015)
Neon Demon (2016)
mother! (2017)
The House That Jack Built (2018)
Midsommar (2019)
Evil Dead remake is surprisingly frightening
Prisoners was scarier than any horror film I've seen of the past decade tbh
Killing of a Sacred Deer and Personal Shopper too
It's unique but it's not the scariest movie of modern times
As grown ass men i dont think we should judge any movie off it being scary lol

big difference between psychological horror and jump scares
Naw that s*** was so overrated it wasn’t even funny. All I was seeing was “Scariest movie in years!”, “So scary it had people walking out of theaters!”, so I’m like “Bet lemme see what the lick read.”
Bruh whole time I was waiting for s*** to get scary. Decapitation scene wit the sister came out of nowhere so it was an “OH S***!” moment but otherwise, that was jus another run of the mill possession story smh.
Same as Insidious. All I heard was how scary it was, yet when I seen it, it was so unscary and corny that I legitimately questioned if it was supposed to be a parody at multiple points of the movie.
big difference between psychological horror and jump scares
Yea that was my point. Kinda didint explain but thats what i meant. Jump scares dont mean much. But hereditary fits perfectly in my mind as a film that gets in your head
Scariest s*** i ever watched so far
